This song has a weird history. It was inspired by the untitled piano song found at the end of Bro Hymn Tribute, on Pennywise's Full Circle album. This was one of my first exposures to piano-driven music and I loved the song's progression. So let's try to replicate this mood on a military-styled piece which was way bigger instrumentation going on than my usual material had back in 2001. Of course, the gunshots in the music represent the song's character being shot more and more.
